Pancreatic Cancer is one of the common cancers having poorest prognosis because most of the time it grows and spreads long before it start showing symptoms. The chance of survival in Pancreatic Cancer is very low. However, Whipples procedure, which is a complex surgery may extend life of patient and has possibility of curing the pancreatic / periampullary cancer as well.
